Mostly clear skies were found across the plains states overnight, as 
a Canadian ridge of high pressure moved across the northern 
plains. Early morning temperatures ranged from the lower 40s in 
northwest Kansas and Nebraska, to the lower 50s in Oklahoma.

Mostly clear and pleasant conditions are expected across the region 
today and tonight, as the ridge of high pressure shifts east into 
the Missouri Valley. This will lead to mostly clear skies, seasonal 
temperatures and light winds.

High temperatures today will range from the lower 70s in northwest 
Missouri, to the middle 70s across northwest Kansas. Low temperatures 
tonight will be mainly in the middle to upper 40s.
